By using Kitabi you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.

Your account

You sign in with Google or Apple. You’re responsible for keeping access to that account secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Kitabi.

Your content

The library, reviews, notes, and lending records you create are yours. You grant Kitabi only the permission needed to store, sync, and display them back to you (and to anyone you explicitly share with). You’re responsible for what you write and share.

Catalog data

Book, author, and publisher information is shared catalog data. Cover images and other metadata may come from third-party sources such as OpenLibrary and Wikimedia and remain the property of their respective owners.

Acceptable use

• Don’t misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or access other users’ data.
• Don’t upload unlawful content or infringe others’ rights.

Availability

Kitabi is provided “as is”, without warranties. We may change or discontinue features, and we aren’t liable for indirect or incidental damages to the extent allowed by law. Because Kitabi is offline-first, your library stays on your device even if the service is unavailable.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. Continued use means you accept the current terms.
